Write me a letter (longhand) that introduces yourself to me as an artist and as a writer. What's your history with writing? Love it? Hate it? Indifferent to it? Why? Do you see any connections between making art and writing? Think about the kind of writing that is freely written, not an assignment or task (like this). Does writing help or aid your art-making? Does it harm or impede it? Write with as much specificity as possible. Also feel free to address ideas related to the questions above. (20 minutes)
Before you turn it in, be sure to proofread. It's totally fine to scratch out an error and write the correction next to it.
